Performance of the NBS RTGS system, clearing system, and interbank and international clearing of foreign exchange payments in September

In the course of 22 business days in September 2026, a total of 18.5 million payments were processed in the NBS RTGS (17.9 million or 96.9%) and clearing systems (0.6 million or 3.1%). The average number of payments was 839,768 per day, of which 813,569 in RTGS and 26,199 in clearing.

The value of turnover in the RTGS system amounted to RSD 20,028.5 billion, while clearing turnover reached RSD 19.3 billion, or 0.10% of the total.

Daily turnover in the RTGS and clearing systems averaged RSD 910.4 billion and RSD 0.9 billion, respectively.

There was a three-minute downtime during 12,225 minutes of production of the NBS RTGS and clearing systems and the system availability was 99.97%.

Transactions worth EUR 452,726,632.24 were processed in the interbank and international clearing of foreign exchange payments, with 21 participants. As there was no downtime, the availability of these systems was 100.0%.
