Performance of the NBS RTGS system, clearing system, and interbank and international clearing of foreign exchange payments in August

In the course of 21 business days in August 2026, a total of 17.8 million payments were processed in the NBS RTGS (17.3 million or 97.1%) and clearing systems (0.5 million or 2.9%). The average number of payments was 847,902 per day, of which 823,701 in RTGS and 24,201 in clearing.

The value of turnover in the RTGS system amounted to RSD 16,935.7 billion, while clearing turnover reached RSD 16.9 billion, or 0.10% of the total.

Daily turnover in the RTGS and clearing systems averaged RSD 806.5 billion and RSD 0.8 billion, respectively.

There was no downtime during 11,730 minutes of production of the NBS RTGS and clearing systems and the system availability was 100.0%.

Transactions worth EUR 269,079,870.59 were processed in the interbank and international clearing of foreign exchange payments, with 21 participants. As there was no downtime, the availability of these systems was 100.0%.
