Accordingly, citizens who have loans granted by Alta banka a.d. Beograd – in bankruptcy should wait for a notification from the Deposit Insurance Agency specifying the bank and the account number to which they should make their loan repayments going forward. They should under no circumstances act on suspicious SMS messages from unknown senders or any e-mails of a similar nature.
The NBS immediately notified Banka Poštanska štedionica so that it could take appropriate measures regarding the account number cited in one of the SMS messages to which the NBS had access.
