The NBS hereby informs citizens that it has ordered Addiko Bank a.d. Beograd to enable to its clients unimpeded use of DinaCards even during system upgrades announced to take place in the period 12–15 March.
Previously, Addiko Bank a.d. Beograd notified its clients and the NBS that during the said works the clients would not be able to use only DinaCard payment cards. The Bank has the obligation to enable smooth operation of the national payment card, just as it has the obligation to ensure smooth operation of foreign card systems.
The position of the NBS is that the downtime in DinaCard use initially announced by Addiko Bank a.d. Beograd is injustified, particularly having in mind the existence of a simple technical solution whereby the Bank can deliver the required service quality and business continuity, as well as the Bank’s obligation to ensure to its clients unimpeded disposal of their funds by using DinaCards.
On 9 March 2021, Addiko Bank a.d. Beograd notified the NBS that it would provide for unimpeded use of DinaCards also during the system upgrade.
