Within its generator/validator service, the NBS has introduced a new functionality – generation and downloading of the payment order with the NBS IPS QR code. Owing to the new functionality, payees who have so far used payment orders in paper form to charge their services and submitted them to their users can now send these orders, which contain the NBS IPS QR code, by email. Payers can now make payments by scanning the code with their m-banking application, without copying the data or printing out the payment order, and without errors.
For the sake of reminder, the NBS has already enabled all economic agents to simply create/generate the NBS IPS QR code by filling in the defined elements in the designated field and technically validating the already created IPS QR codes for invoices via the NBS generator/validator service.
The service upgrade enables all users to download the payment order with the NBS IPS QR code, i.e. users can download the technically valid code on the payment order.
By using this service, payees can enable their clients (debtors – payers) to pay their bills in a simple way, with several clicks only – by scanning the NBS IPS QR code from the payment order with their m-banking applications.
All payees who independently create the NBS IPS QR code or their providers of technical services do this for them, can check the technical validity of the NBS IPS QR code free-of-charge, by using the NBS generator/validator service.
